Hamid R. Latifi, MD, JD, is the founder of Latifi Law, PLLC with a unique background, which includes both medical and legal degrees.
Dr. Latifi received his Bachelors of Science and Master of Arts degrees in Biology and Molecular Biology, respectively, from the University of California, Los Angeles. He graduated with honors from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, and went on to complete his specialty training in diagnostic radiology and subspecialty training in nuclear medicine at Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis.

Dr. Latifi has been practicing radiology and actively participating in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows for over 20 years. He has co-authored several peer-reviewed articles and presented scientific work at national meetings for over two decades.
Pursuing his passion for law and legal advocacy, Dr. Latifi attended Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, receiving his Juris Doctor (J.D.) with honors. He is licensed to practice law in Texas and Washington state. While in law school, Dr. Latifi spent several weeks at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Region VI Offices in Dallas, Texas, working with attorneys at the Office of General Counsel. Dr. Latifi’s main law practice interests include family law, healthcare law, wills, and elder law. He is passionate about representing his clients and relishes the opportunity to advocate for those who need their voices heard.
